Support Our Chaplains Serving COVID-19 Patients, Families and First Responders

Dear Friends of St. Camillus:

In 2020, our chaplains face many new challenges related to COVID-19 and we are asking your help to enable them to continue to provide spiritual aid and support to COVID-19 patients on an around the clock basis. So far, more than 241,000 people in Los Angeles County have been afflicted during the pandemic and many of these are being treated at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center and other facilities we serve. Our chaplains go on rounds with the medical staff and are on call on a 24/7/365 basis to provide sacraments and other spiritual services on an emergency basis.

Our chaplains are totally funded by donations and grants from charitable foundations. Although they welcome our participation, hospitals we serve do not contribute any funding toward spiritual support for patients. During this time of extreme need, we are asking you to help us with whatever donation you can by clicking the DONATE button above; visiting our website StCamillusCenter.org; or mailing a check to St. Camillus Center, 1911 Zonal Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90033 indicating that the donation is for our COVID-19 work.

Your support enables St. Camillus’ Chaplains to serve the most vulnerable among us, forging links among people and communities to create positive change. This Summer Update provides a brief review of our progress and activities this year.

Peace and Blessings,

Father Chris Ponnet
