It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you that our dear friend Fr Bob Jones passed away on the morning of Feb 10, 2020 due to a heart attack.
Fr Bob was a dedicated chaplain, a faithful priest servant, a teacher for many years, a brother in community, a supportive colleague and dear friend to many of us. The suddenness of his passing is still a shock and has left an ache in our hearts. His caring presence and gentle humor will be missed by so many.
Fr Bob’s greatest love was to serve the least of our brothers and sisters and it brought him great joy to minister to the patients, family and staff at our hospitals. We are grateful that he was able to continue his ministry to the very end of his life.
May choirs of angels receive you into your eternal rest, dear friend.
